Harrogate

Valley Gardens are English Heritage Grade II Listed gardens situated in regal Low Harrogate, which along with woodland known as The Pinewoods, cover 17 acres. The Gardens contain a greater number of mineral springs than any other known place. For music lovers, band concerts take place on Sunday afternoons throughout the summer. Beautiful historical buildings such as the Sun Pavilion and Colonnades sit alongside a wide variety of outdoor games, children's play area and the Magnesia Well Café

Betty's Tea Rooms Harrogate

The story of Bettys began in Harrogate in 1919, and they have been welcoming locals and visitors to their tea rooms ever since. Before you enter it’s worth pausing under to feast your eyes on the mouth-watering window displays that vary with the season. Once inside the shop you’ll be spoilt for choice with over 300 breads, cakes and chocolates, as well as 50 different teas and coffees.

Yorkshire Show

The Great Yorkshire Show is the North's leading agricultural event and takes place from Tuesday 13 to Thursday 15 July 2010 on the 250-acre Great Yorkshire Showground on the edge of the spa town of Harrogate. 2010 will be the 152nd Great Yorkshire Show and will be a celebration of agriculture and country life.
